They created the Firewise Community Program designed to include homeowners, planners and developers, Arizona State Land and Coronado National Forest Service personnel. The goal of this program is to educate community members on how to protect people and property from the risk of wildfires before fire starts. READ MORE . . .

Oracle's Community Emergency Response Team was formed after 17 people completed a series of classes designed to teach skills in first aid, safety procedures, incident assistance, and other venues that would help the Fire Dept. and the community in an emergency. Ongoing classes and training are held as often as time allows. This group may be called upon to assist in a non-hazardous way during an emergency.
